"Podcasting" is really just a term coined to describe online technology used to easily deliver rich media to you.
Do I need to install fancy software?
Most websites serving "Podcast" pages work fine with any modern internet browser. (Opera, Firefox, Safari, etc)
But to really maximize the best of podcasting technology -- such as having the ability to "subscribe" and automatically download the latest media files from your favorite podcast websites, we highly recommend downloading the latest version of iTunes.And if you aren't much of an iTunes fan, you can always download and install these other freely available software:
